Communications & Engagement Senior Officer
Job Description:
Your role
As part of the Communications team, you're responsible for the production and management of all communication material for corporate, engagement, advertising, and marketing purposes.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you'll oversee our social media presence and drive awareness of the brand among clients and candidates. You'll work with all teams to ensure transparency accuracy and engagement is upheld across the business through impactful internal communications and engaging activities.
This is a reduced hours position with presence of 3 or 4 days per week.
Your focus
- Create and manage engaging and informative content for social media, driving its growth
- Deliver internal communications and campaigns, partnering with various teams
- Maintain our intranet portal and website
- Plan, organise and deliver engagement campaigns and events
- Write press releases for local media
- Work with third parties or agencies for marketing purposes
- Collaborate with client-facing teams to produce pitches, marketing, and advertising material
- Work with charitable partners to deliver on ESG strategy
- Be a champion of the brand culture and values
Your experience
- 3 years of experience in a communications, social media or marketing role
- Communications, media, marketing, or related degree
- Ability to work across various channels for different audiences
- Exceptional communication, written, and verbal skills
- Creative thinking
- Collaborative, organised, flexible and resilient
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Able to build and maintain networks and relationships, both internally and externally
- Resourceful and agile with the ability to turn challenges into opportunities to learn and build upon
