Knowledge Solutions Manager - Legal

 Job Description:

Our client is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to be our next Knowledge Solutions Manager and we are considering candidates based in Jersey, Guernsey and London.

The ideal candidate would:

  • be degree educated in Law (e.g LLB, LLM)
  • have worked a minimum of 2 years' in a law firm setting
  • be experienced in using legal tech solutions (e.g Contract Express, iManage or similar platforms), reviewing and validating legal documents, designing and delivering training for fee-earners, preparing articles and client-briefs to support business development, advise fee-earners on complex matters

Experience in Financial Services Law would be essential  Corporate & Commercial, Mergers and Acquisitions, Funds & Investment Structures, Trust & Foundations.

We welcome lawyers that are considering transitioning to a Knowledge Management role.

Ideally we are seeing someone full time, however we can consider reduced hours for the right candidate.

This role reports into our Chief Operating Officer and it involves working in a team of three and can offer up to two days working from home. Salary will be in line with skills and experience.

Candidates would need to have knowledge management and practical product experience of document automation and client portals in a law firm or legal practice environment.

They might be a knowledge professional, paralegal, qualified lawyer looking to make the transition or someone already experienced in legal operations and legal project management.

Knowledge/skills/experience

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a law firm setting
  • Experience in dealing with stakeholders, suppliers, lawyers and business services professionals of all levels
  • Experience of using legal tech solutions such as Contract Express, iManage or similar platforms
  • User centric approach to services and commercial awareness
  • Able to represent the team and the firm professionally and positively both internally and externally
