Client Director
Job Description:
Provides senior client relationship management and support to a Client Portfolio, including but not limited to serving on the boards of clients as a director
Supervises and supports the Operations of Jersey specifically the Corporate, Trust and EBT
Service Lines (collectively the Service Team).
Manages and develops the Managers and other senior personnel in the Service Team through formal and informal meetings; including the weekly and regular one to one meetings with Managers and other senior personnel in the Service Team.
Provides technical, client relationship and management support to the Service Team.
Works with the MD and Service Team to recruit and retain a team in line with the agreed
Business Planning
Undertakes projects under the direction of the MD.
Ensures that all financial and New Business targets are met.
Ensures that clients billing and cash collection is carried out effectively and in a timely manner,
and negotiates fees to the mutual satisfaction of Jersey and clients.
Acquires and maintains a detailed knowledge of Jerseys infrastructure in particular, policies, procedures, processes, systems, central services and compliance and regulatory requirements across all segments of the business.
Regularly reviews operational practices and recommends changes to improve efficiency.
Updates policies and procedures in response to regulatory or operational changes.
Develops and maintains close working relationships with new and existing clients within the group, suppliers, beneficiaries and intermediaries - strengthens key relationships through regular contact
Attends marketing events and functions organised by intermediaries and other relevant parties.
Qualification such as ACIB, STEP, ICSA or hold a law degree or accountancy qualification, or equivalent level of practical experience
Has a broad knowledge of the market in which AGS operates, consequently having the ability to balance the client needs and commercial expectations in developing client strategies
Understands the principles and practices of company administration, to include funds and SPVs.
Has a proven track record in handling complex fiduciary issues
Is able to recognise and respond to risk situations, in addition having the knowledge of anti-money laundering detection and reporting, compliance (KYC) regulations, policies and standards regarding due diligence
Has a good knowledge of the laws relating to money laundering and terrorist financing.
Acting as a Director or Trustee on client structures.
Strong organisational skills with proven ability to explore and challenge team structures to improve efficiency and effectiveness with attention to detail
Experience in the trust and corporate administration industry and fully conversant with all company secretarial and board governance areas
Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office) and presentation skills both verbally and in written
