Salary £50,000 - £55,000

Location: Jersey

Contract: Monday-Friday plus evening and weekend work, permanent

We are seeking a qualified accountant who is enthusiastic about transitioning to a teaching role. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to share their financial knowledge and practical experience with the next generation of learners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to inspire students.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans on accounting and finance topics.
- Utilize real-world examples to enhance student understanding and interest.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to create a supportive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

**Qualifications:**
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Qualified accountant status (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Passion for teaching and a desire to make a difference in students lives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience within tax or financial management preferable
• Previous training experience preferred although not essential as training will be given, and a mentor provided
• Flexible working environment
• Full-time (set days per year agreed in advance)
• 7 weeks holiday
