Finance Accountant

 Job Description:

Your role

Our Finance team is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day accounting, reporting, forecasting and budgeting for Company  entities across 3 jurisdictions, Jersey, Luxembourg and London.

​Reporting to a Senior Finance Accountant or above, you will be taking a full ownership of bookkeeping, payments, billings and management report and accounts preparation.

Your focus

  • Ownership of bookkeeping transactions and generation of trial balance
  • Process payments and generate invoices. Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable
  • Process unreconciled items identified between bank records and core systems
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns, management reports and statutory accounts
  • Provide support to external audit as need

Your experience

  • Have strong academics and is in the advance stage of professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principle
  • Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills providing clear direction and attentive listening
