Head of Credit Control & Billing

 Job Description:


We're looking for a qualified accountant who holds a relevant qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW) and at least 5 years' experience within a law firm or professional services setting in a similar role.

Strong people management skills with at least 3 years' experience of leading and developing billing and credit control teams is essential along with proven experience of developing and delivering clear, accurate and relevant reports to aid decision making.

You'll also have demonstrated experience of leading or involvement in billing and credit control improvement projects and confidence to interact at executive level, with the ability to influence behaviour at Partner and senior management level.

A collaborative approach with excellent client service attitude, strong organisation, planning, written and verbal communication skills are fundamental for this role.

You'll also need strong IT skills in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel with an eye for detail and diligence to ensure accuracy of system, process and output.

Lean Six Sigma or other efficiency qualifications desirable.
