Accounts Preparer
Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful and growing wealth management business within the client accounting team. As a key member of the department, you'll collaborate closely with colleagues across the trust company. Were looking for someone conscientious, able to thrive under pressure, and an excellent communicator.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Prepare clients accounts in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain bookkeeping records for complex client entities
- Provide outstanding client service by being organised, efficient, and detail-oriented
- Act as a proactive team player, working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
Qualifications and skills
Essential
- Must have Entitled for Work status i.e. minimum of 5 years residency in Jersey
- A minimum of three years experience working in a client accounting role
- AAT or CAT qualified or working towards qualification (or equivalent), or obtained relevant experience in a similar role
- A sound knowledge of U.K. taxation particularly around accounting for investments
- Ability to work to deadlines

- Organised with exceptional time management and attention to detail, adaptable to a changing environment.
- Initiative, enthusiasm, and determined to drive projects to completion
