Senior Associate Corporate & Commercial
Job Description:
The successful candidate will give our clients clear and focused advice and will be expected to lead the management of files and work with the wider team on larger-scale transactions, with a view to taking charge of such transactions with further experience. The candidate will also play a material role in our business-development activities. In particular, the candidate will need to:
- take responsibility for managing files and transactions,
- including resolving issues that arise during transactions
- demonstrate initiative in identifying key issues
- work collaboratively with other members of the team
- accept assignments delegated from Partners and report
- efficiently to the Partners as required
- give technically accurate advice to clients
- demonstrate good commercial awareness relevant to
- our clients differing objectives and needs
- work in compliance with the firms procedures, including
- (without limitation) anti-money laundering rules and
- prompt and accurate time-recording
- communicate clearly and efficiently with clients on all
- aspects of a matter, particularly with regard to the
- scope of work, the anticipated costs and disbursements, progress during the matter and any issues that arise (or may arise)
