Administrator – Private Client
Location: Jersey
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Administrator to join our Private Client team in Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administrative experience—ideally within financial or fiduciary services—who is ready to take the next step in their career.
You'll play a key role in supporting high-quality client service delivery, working closely with experienced Trust Managers and Client Directors while gaining exposure to a broad range of structures including companies, trusts, and foundations.
What You'll Be Doing
In this varied and hands-on role, you will:
Support the administration and client management team across a portfolio of entities
Prepare draft minutes, resolutions, and documentation for companies, trusts, and foundations
Assist with client transactions, including preparing payments and ensuring full supporting documentation
Maintain and update statutory records, registers, and databases
Support the opening of bank accounts, including preparation of required documentation
Ensure compliance with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) requirements
Accurately record time and contribute to billing processes
Deliver a high standard of service aligned with Oak's values and client-focused approach
This role is ideal if you are:
Early in your career with at least 1 year of administrative experience (fiduciary experience is a bonus)
Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) with passes in English and Maths
Interested in progressing professionally (support available for qualifications such as STEP, CGI or ACCA)
You'll also bring:
A basic understanding of trust and corporate structures (or a strong willingness to learn)
Awareness of Jersey AML regulations (or keen to develop knowledge)
Strong IT skills, especially MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
A genuine drive to learn and build a career in private client services
