About the role

Our client is growing our Banking and Finance team and is seeking to add a Senior Associate to their team.

You will provide support to, and work alongside the Partners to help clients succeed in realizing their business or personal objectives, through the efficient delivery of appropriate legal advice.

Responsibilities include:

Providing accurate commercial advice to clients

Delivering excellent client service

Preparing and negotiating Jersey transaction documents

Liaising with instructing counsel to provide Jersey transaction management support

Managing deadlines effectively

Preparing fee estimates and keeping clients updated in relation to fees

Managing work in progress.

Taking responsibility for delegated work and asking for appropriate guidance from the Partners and senior lawyers as necessary

Contribute to producing know-how

Support the Partners in developing more junior members of the team

Assisting the Partners and senior lawyers with appropriate business development activities.

What you need

5-6 years relevant PQE

Admitted to practice in England & Wales or Jersey

Flexible mindset with a proven track record of navigating diverse challenges
