Commercial Property Associate/Senior Associate
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of managing and coordinating transactions from initial advice and instruction through to completion.
- Deliver a high-quality, timely, and professional service that meets the needs of all clients.
- Delegate tasks and actively supervise the work of junior staff and conveyancers, as appropriate.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of business development plans, aligned with the firm and teams strategy, to attract new work and strengthen client relationships.
- Support the departments advancement through the effective use of technology.
- Assist in identifying cross-selling opportunities, supporting new ventures, and exploring ways to enhance our services.
- Participate in non-chargeable activities that build the firms internal know-how and external reputation, such as seminars, article writing, and presentations.
- Manage risk exposure in line with policies and procedures.
- Promote and reinforce the brand in all professional interactions.
Knowledge/skills/experience:
- Minimum 4 - 6 yrs PQE with a Jersey/UK/Commonwealth qualification.
- Relevant experience on a broad range of commercial property matters
- Experience of Jersey property transactions.
- Good experience of delegating, supervising and motivating others.
- Sound drafting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
