Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to join our expanding team in Shenzhen. You will be the critical linchpin for executing key projects, primarily focusing on our modular data center and electrical infrastructure product lines. You will own the project lifecycle—from initial kick-off through to final delivery—ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, to the highest quality standards, and with exceptional client satisfaction. This role requires a unique blend of technical understanding, cross-functional leadership, and commercial acumen to navigate complex, fast-paced industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End Project Leadership:

  • Serve as the single point of contact and accountability for assigned projects, managing all aspects from planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, to final handover.
  • Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress meticulously, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Ensure strict adherence to project timelines, cost controls, and Giga Energy's rigorous quality and safety standards.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Stakeholder Management:

  • Lead and coordinate internal cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Control, and Sales.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Giga Energy and clients, suppliers, and contractors in China and internationally. Facilitate clear, timely, and professional communication.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, dashboards, and presentations for both internal leadership and external clients.

Technical & Commercial Execution:

  • Oversee the technical execution of projects, ensuring designs and specifications are implemented accurately. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Manage project financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, invoicing coordination, and change order management.
  • Oversee procurement activities and supplier performance in collaboration with the supply chain team.

On-Site & Delivery Management:

  • Coordinate and oversee on-site activities, including installation, testing, and commissioning support as required.
  • Ensure all project documentation (e.g., manuals, as-built drawings, certificates) is complete and delivered.
  • Lead project closure activities, including final client acceptance and lessons-learned reviews.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical), or a related technical field. PMP or equivalent certification is a strong plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management, specifically within industrial manufacturing, electrical infrastructure, data center construction environments.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex, technical projects from inception to completion with a portfolio of delivered projects.
  • Solid experience in managing cross-cultural teams and international stakeholders.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical integration, and industrial manufacturing processes. Familiarity with data center infrastructure (power, cooling) is highly advantageous.
  • Bilingual Communication: Fluency in both Mandarin and English is mandatory, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical and commercial discussions.
  • Leadership & Problem-Solving: Natural leader with strong interpersonal skills, capable of motivating teams and driving decisions under pressure. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented startup environment. Willingness to be on-call as needed and travel to project sites or other company locations (domestically and internationally).
