Location: Johor or Klang Valley, Malaysia

About the Role:
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with specialized experience in Low Voltage (LV) systems and Building Management Systems (BMS) to support our data center projects. This role focuses on the power distribution and control systems that are the nerve center of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and oversee the installation of LV electrical systems, including power distribution boards, generators, UPS systems, and cabling.
• Specify, configure, and integrate Building Management Systems (BMS) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) for monitoring and controlling MEP equipment.
• Liaise with BMS vendors and contractors to ensure proper installation, programming, and commissioning of control systems.
• Develop and review single-line diagrams, schematic drawings, and control logic narratives.
• Support testing and commissioning activities, including functional performance tests (FPT) for electrical and BMS systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to power quality, system controls, and BMS integration points.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with national codes (e.g., IEC, IEEE) and client-specific standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a significant focus on LV systems and BMS/BAS.
• Hands-on experience with BMS platforms (e.g., Siemens Desigo, Schneider EcoStruxure, Johnson Controls Metasys) is highly preferred.
• Experience in data centers or other critical facilities is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
