Project Engineer (Interior Fit-Out)

About the Role
We are a creative and technical fit-out contractor dedicated to transforming spaces. We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Project Engineer to bridge the gap between design and construction. In this role, you will ensure that our fit-out projects are executed smoothly, meeting technical specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in the day-to-day coordination of site activities, including carpentry, partitioning, M&E works, and finishing.
• Interpret construction drawings and ensure site work aligns with design intent and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality of workmanship and safety compliance.
• Resolve technical issues on-site promptly and propose practical solutions.
• Maintain site records, progress reports, and as-built drawings.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the construction industry, specifically with interior fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of fit-out works, including M&E coordination, false ceilings, dry walls, and joinery installation.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and using AutoCAD (basic editing skills required).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills to liaise with designers, contractors, and clients.
• Own transport and willingness to work on-site.
