Our client is a global professional services firm specializing in commercial real estate and investment management.

Job Summary

This role provides comprehensive facilities management services, including continuous facility monitoring and routine operational support. The position involves collaborating with facilities managers on procurement, contract administration, and financial processing for property supplies and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Facility Management Team with tactical planning for the team's goals and objectives.
  • Recommend continuous management initiatives and energy management plan, reviewing existing operations regularly to reduce cost and improve operational standards.
  • Provide facility specific assistance to the project management team as needed or requested.
  • Manage and maintain facility management tasks as assigned.
  • Coordinate special events in support of client or the company.
  • Assist with the coordination and scheduling of maintenance activities.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance, respond to urgent maintenance calls and participate in the creation of emergency preparedness plans.
  • Contract administration and associated reporting.
  • Ensure the site provision of safe working environment and compliance to HSE standards.
  • Lead major DC activities during non-office hours where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Tertiary Qualifications (Bachelors’ Degree) in a mechanical, electrical or operational engineering discipline.
  • 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in engineering or critical environment space.
  • 3 - 4 years' experience in the operation of electrical and mechanical services in Tier III or equivalent data centre or critical facility.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge in M&E and building related systems, e.g., CRAC, chillers.
  • Competent in undertaking Job Hazards Analysis (JHA).
  • Critical environment experience within a similar sized site or operation.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client and vendor staff.
  • Experienced with continuous improvement initiatives, client relationship, and preparation of documentation.
