Assistant Project Manager
Job Description:
Our client, a property developer with a 10,000-hectare land bank, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to oversee site operations. This role requires frequent on-site presence but is not permanently site-based. The ideal candidate will have the authority to fully coordinate and allocate on-site resources effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
Site Supervision and Coordination:
- Regularly visit the construction site to supervise the construction progress, quality and safety standards of high-rise building projects to ensure compliance with design specifications and company requirements.
- Coordinate with the design team, contractors, suppliers and supervision units to solve technical problems on site and promote the project as planned.
- Participate in the acceptance and quality inspection of key nodes.
Technical Management:
- Review construction drawings, technical solutions and construction plans, identify potential risks and make optimization suggestions, focusing on the structural safety and construction feasibility of high-rise buildings.
- Track design changes during construction to ensure that change documents are complete and effectively implemented.
- Manage construction logs and technical documents, and submit progress reports and problem analysis to the project manager on a regular basis.
Cost and Schedule Control:
Monitor the use of materials, equipment and human resources on site to assist in controlling project costs.
- Analyze construction progress deviations, formulate corrective measures, and ensure that the project is delivered on time.
Safety Management:
- Supervise the implementation of on-site safety measures to ensure compliance with special safety regulations for high-rise building construction.
Client and team collaboration:
- Assist in handling on-site inspections and acceptance work for clients or government departments, and maintain good cooperative relationships.
Job requirements:
Bachelor degree or above, major in civil engineering, construction engineering, structural engineering, etc.
- More than 5 years of on-site project management experience, familiar with key technologies for high-rise building construction.
- Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and able to independently review BIM models.
Familiar with national and local building codes and special acceptance procedures for high-rise buildings.
- Possess excellent on-site problem-solving skills, can quickly respond to emergencies and develop feasible plans.
Strong communication and coordination skills, able to efficiently connect with multiple stakeholders
