Job Summary
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company, ensuring robust financial management, accurate reporting, and compliance. This role requires a detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills to manage budgets, financial operations, and support strategic financial decision-making for a dynamic property development firm.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of daily financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and budgets, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor cash flow, manage expenses, and ensure strict financial compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls, systems, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments to ensure financial targets are met.
- Conduct financial analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for new projects, investments, and business initiatives.
- Liaise effectively with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other financial institutions.Ensure timely and accurate submission of all statutory and regulatory reports.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial capacity
- Proven track record in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles, financial standards, and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders and explaining complex financial information clearly.
- Experience in the property development or real estate industry is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
