We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all civil and structural works within our data centre prefabrication projects. The ideal candidate will ensure construction quality, safety, cost efficiency, and schedule adherence while driving innovation through modular and prefabricated design practices.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Design Coordination

  • Develop and manage civil and structural engineering plans for data centre prefabrication projects from design to delivery.

  • Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure design intent, technical compliance, and constructability.

  • Collaborate closely with consultants, designers, and prefabrication suppliers to optimize structural and civil designs.

  • Support tender and bidding activities, including preparing technical documents, scopes of work, and clarifications for subcontractors.

  • Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and feasibility assessments for project optimization.

Construction & Implementation Management

  • Oversee all civil and structural works, including foundations, superstructures, drainage, roadworks, and landscaping.

  • Prepare quantity take-offs, material and equipment lists, and project schedules (including detailed three-week rolling plans).

  • Monitor site execution to ensure safety, quality, and progress targets are achieved.

  • Identify engineering risks (safety, cost, schedule, quality, or data) and implement effective control measures.

  • Coordinate with MEP and HVAC teams to ensure seamless system integration.

Prefabrication & Modular Construction

  • Manage the assembly, installation, and inspection of prefabricated concrete, steel, and modular components.

  • Liaise with off-site fabrication teams to ensure dimensional accuracy, quality standards, and delivery readiness.

  • Drive continuous improvement in prefabrication methods and installation processes.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Implement and monitor QA/QC standards for civil and structural works.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with EHS and company safety policies.

  • Support audits, corrective actions, and root cause analyses for non-conformities.

Project Reporting & Handover

  • Verify contractor claims, variations, and progress payments.

  • Manage project documentation, including inspection records and as-built drawings.

  • Oversee project closeout activities including training, material inventory, settlement, and completion reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction, preferably in data centre or industrial projects.

  • Hands-on experience in prefabrication, modular construction, or factory-built systems is highly advantageous.

  • Strong knowledge of civil and structural design standards, materials, and construction methodologies.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and civil design tools.

  • Familiar with local building codes, EHS regulations, and QA/QC processes.

  • Registered Engineer or equivalent professional certification preferred.

  • Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
