The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Project Manager to lead a major hospital construction or renovation project. This role requires a unique blend of technical construction expertise, meticulous planning, and a deep understanding of the stringent requirements of a live healthcare environment. You will be responsible for delivering the project on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Leadership: Manage all phases of the hospital project from initial planning and design coordination through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients (Hospital Authority, private hospital operators), architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. Facilitate clear communication and manage expectations effectively.
- Budget & Cost Control: Develop, monitor, and control the project budget. Manage procurement, cost forecasting, and variation orders, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Programme & Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project programmes. Proactively identify and mitigate risks to the critical path to ensure timely delivery.

- Safety Management: Champion a zero-accident culture. Enforce all site safety regulations, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with Hong Kong's safety legislation.
- Contract Administration: Administer the main contract and all subcontracts, including claims management, interim payments, and final account agreement.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a site-based team of engineers, supervisors, and clerks of works.
Who You Are (Qualifications & Experience)
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing hospital or healthcare facility projects in Hong Kong
- Bachelor's degree in MEP Engineering or a related field.
- Exceptional Problem-Solver: Ability to anticipate and resolve complex issues in a high-stakes environment.
- Resilient Leader: Strong leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders under pressure.
