MEP Project Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven MEP Project Manager to take full ownership of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects from conception to completion. As the primary point of accountability, you will be responsible for delivering projects that meet safety, quality, schedule, and profit objectives, while building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the single point of responsibility for the successful delivery of MEP projects, primarily in the data centre sector.
- Develop comprehensive project execution plans, lead internal kick-off meetings, and ensure clear internal alignment on goals, standards, and strategies.
- Manage and oversee all project phases to achieve targets for safety, progress, quality, and budget.
- Lead and coordinate the collaboration between design, engineering, testing, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and main contractors, ensuring effective communication and high customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with Procurement, Cost Control, and Finance departments to manage variations, claims, and final accounts to achieve project profit goals.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance project team, fostering a culture of accountability, execution excellence, and continuous improvement through structured project复盘 (post-mortem analysis).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP project management, with at least 8 years specifically in the construction of large-scale data centres.
- A proven track record of at least 5 years in a Project Manager role for an MEP package within the data centre industry is essential.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience managing project P&L.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and organizational coordination capabilities, with experience building and motivating effective teams.
- A professional background and deep technical skills in MEP systems are required.
