 Job Description:

Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate ESG Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end ESG advisory services to our diverse client portfolio. You will work directly with clients to assess their current ESG performance, develop robust strategies, and implement practical solutions that enhance their sustainability credentials, meet regulatory requirements, and improve their overall market position.


Key Responsibilities

1. ESG Strategy & Program Development: Partner with clients to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive ESG strategies and roadmaps aligned with their business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

2. ESG Reporting & Disclosure: Guide clients in preparing sustainability reports in accordance with leading frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, IFRS S1 and S2, and the EU CSRD.

3. Data Analysis & Metrics: Collect, analyze, and interpret ESG data to measure performance, establish baselines, and set meaningful targets (e.g., for carbon emissions, diversity, etc.).

4. Stakeholder Engagement: Advise on and facilitate stakeholder engagement processes with investors, employees, communities, and regulators.

5. Policy & Process Improvement: Assist clients in developing and enhancing internal ESG-related policies (e.g., Code of Conduct, Diversity & Inclusion, Environmental Management).

6. Regulatory Compliance: Monitor the evolving global ESG regulatory landscape and advise clients on compliance requirements.

7. Client Management: Build and maintain strong, trusted-advisor relationships with clients, managing projects from scoping to delivery.

8. Research & Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging trends, standards, and best practices in ESG and contribute to the development of internal knowledge and thought leadership materials.


Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

2. 3+ years of professional experience in an ESG/sustainability role, preferably within consulting, advisory, or a relevant corporate setting.

3. Demonstrated, hands-on experience with major ESG reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD) and an understanding of rating agencies (MSCI, Sustainalytics, S&P Global).

4. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.

5. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and data visualization.

6. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex ESG concepts into clear, actionable advice for non-experts.

7. English and Chinese can be used as working languages.
