Printing Press Operator

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure product is made according to specifications in order to produce the entire job correctly
Identify errors/ problems and take action to correct
Verify inks, stocks, plates and dies as per job
Install correct aniloxes, dies, plates and material
Set impression and registers print to print and print to die
Set up fanfolder, turret or sheeter if required
Fill and maintain ink pan levels throughout run
Completes all start up checks (proof, die strike, sign offs, barcode scannability)
Maximize press speeds and efficiencies
Correctly label and package, in a neatly manner, product that is finished on press
Input correct information into LabelTraxx and complete necessary paperwork
General maintenance and housekeeping of press and surrounding area
Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
Experience using a Mark Andy 2200 13 press is an asset
Experience using Flexographic presses is an asset.
Salary: We offer a range between $ 23.75 and $29.00 per hour depending on qualifications.
Bonus: Potential bonus of 15% of annual salary at employers discretion.
Benefits: Extended health including dental, vision, life and disability insurance.
Job Type: Full-time permanent, Minimum of 32 hours per week, must be flexible to work day, night or weekend shifts.
Language: At least intermediate level of English proficiency is required.
