Accounting Systems Analyst (Oracle Implementation) – Contract (18 Months)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Downtown – Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 remote)

Compensation: $30–$40/hour (based on experience) + health benefits

Prequel Solutions is seeking an Accounting Systems Analyst to support a major financial system transformation for a well-established and highly respected Pittsburgh-based organization. This 18-month contract role will play a key part in an Oracle Financials implementation, working closely with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure a smooth transition and successful adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Oracle Financials implementation by collecting, organizing, and preparing financial data (vendors, customers, general ledger accounts and balances).

Participate in system testing activities, including data mapping, validation, and reconciliation of converted data.

Assist Corporate Accounting with operational and business unit tasks to ensure continuity during the implementation.

Provide end-user support and training on Oracle and related tools.

Assist with documenting updated procedures, workflows, and internal policies.

Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and project team members to identify and resolve issues.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or related field.

2–3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or financial systems support.

Experience working with an ERP system

Solid understanding of general ledger structure, financial reporting, and accounting principles.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred

Experience with Oracle Financials (Cloud or EBS)

Prior system implementation, conversion, or UAT experience

Experience in financial services or asset management
