The Risk Analyst III is an essential member of the Risk Management team, collaborating with various business units across the Bank. This role focuses on leading the Banks operating incident review, records management, and insurance programs, as well as conducting Bank-wide risk assessments and presenting risk reports to the Operational Risk Management Committee.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the operating incident program, analyze control breakdowns, determine root causes, and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
• Oversee records management and insurance programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and adequate insurance coverage.
• Assist in the Bank-wide risk and control self-assessment process and prepare reports for management.
• Provide high-quality service and guidance to internal customers on risk-related tasks.
• Independently challenge business unit conclusions and communicate insights to executives.
• Communicate effectively with FHFA personnel on regulatory requests and document risk processes for executive committees.

Required Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
• Five years of experience in the financial services industry, focusing on risk evaluation and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
