Description
This is a front-line business development and relationship management role focused on acquiring and growing relationships with middle market clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate, structure, and manage commercial credit relationships in the $5MM$10MM+ range.
- Lead the relationship across the banks full platform: treasury, insurance, FX, wealth, and benefits.
- Actively prospect new clients and build a strong local portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal partners to deliver a unified, value-driven banking experience.
- Help shape the market strategy and grow into a future leadership opportunity.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary + Incentive: ~30% of base salary (performance-based)
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid 3 days/week onsite in Cincinnati

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- 5+ years in commercial or business banking
- Strong credit skills: able to structure, analyze, and underwrite complex middle market deals
- Experience with syndicated or club deals
- Experience and track record with new business development
- Knowledge of the Cincinnati market and/or existing book of business preferred
- Team-oriented, selfless, but adept at building client relationships
- Bachelors degree required
- Strong Credit Acumen is Critical
They must be able to structure, analyze, and underwrite middle market credit deals not just rely on Credit partners.
They should understand how to assess risk, negotiate terms, and identify early warning signs in client financials.
Salary Package:
$ 90,000.00 - 170,000.00 (US Dollar)
