A Relationship Manager II manages a portfolio of existing middle market banking relationships, cultivates new business from both existing and prospective clients and recommends various banking products across and lines of business to help clients achieve their financial goals. They serve as the primary point of contact, helping clients navigate a range of financial products and services to meet their business needs.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

  • Pursue new middle market-sized business clients with borrowing needs greater than $3 million.
  • Originate and manage relationships with complex capital structures.
  • Identify and execute capital markets opportunities.
  • Promote a full suite of banking products and services, including Treasury Management and foreign currency exchange.
  • Develop a network of Centers of Influence through community activities and charitable organizations.
  • Manage Investment Real Estate opportunities between $3-$7.5 million.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to deepen and expand relationship revenue.
  • Monitor individual sales performance versus goals.

Financial Solutions Advisory

  • Share insights with clients, positioning the bank as a trusted partner.
  • Assess clients' financial needs and objectives to provide tailored banking solutions.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all Bank products and services.

Relationship Management and Client Support

  • Manage a portfolio up to $250 million, including complex relationships.
  • Address client inquiries and provide ongoing support.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate call records of client interactions.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Work closely with Credit Administration to determine initial credit worthiness.
  • Negotiate optimal terms and conditions with clients.
  • Ensure proper execution of loan documents and close transactions.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Management to maintain credit quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of ten years of credit analysis or relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated business development skills with an established COI network.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong computer and analytical skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel, including overnight stays.

 Salary Package:

$ 90,000.00 - 170,000.00 (US Dollar)
