Project Manager

 Job Description:

The Project Manager (PM) will oversee the continued development and enhancement of an extranet site, facilitating secure information sharing with external stakeholders. The PM will collaborate to create a secure website for managing documents and ensuring systems integrity. The role includes ensuring adherence to project management methodologies, effective communication, and collaboration with senior management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage project lifecycle, including planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation.
  • Align system requirements with business needs.
  • Develop and oversee detailed project plans, estimates, and schedules.
  • Ensure the project stays within budget and on schedule, making adjustments as needed.
  • Track project progress and metrics, ensuring milestones are met and scope changes are managed.
  • Coordinate communication and ensure stakeholder engagement.
  • Mitigate risks and resolve project issues proactively.
  • Mentor less experienced project management staff and foster collaboration across IT and vendor teams.
  • Facilitate system testing, training, and presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with PMO standards and provide weekly updates and status reports.

Required qualifications:

  • 7-9 years of experience in managing complex technical projects, with skills in budgeting, communication, leadership, and problem-solving.
  • Experience in web development.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • A 4-year degree or equivalent technical study is preferred.

The role offers the option for telework, and necessary resources such as hardware, software, and network access will be provided.
