Prequel is seeking qualified candidates for a Level 1 Help Desk position for a client in the greater Pittsburgh area. This is a 6 month contract to hire role and offers a competitive compensation package and a stable long term employment opportunity with growth potential. This role will join an existing help desk team with responsibilities including:

  • Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
  • Document customer interactions
  • Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues
  • Escalate issues to the next Tier with next level of difficulty
  • Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software
  • Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 1+ year of professional experience in a technical support role
  • Knowledge in providing technical support across Network, Software, Hardware areas
  • Active Directory Experience
  • Certifications a Plus
  • Lives locally in the Pittsburgh area
