We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise technology transformation involving SAP, CRM, analytics, and complex system integrations. This individual will design, develop, and execute performance testing scenarios to validate system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness across interconnected enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with NeoLoad, enterprise application performance testing, API integrations, and high-volume transaction processing. This role will collaborate closely with application development, integration, infrastructure, and quality assurance teams to identify performance bottlenecks and support successful releases.

Key Responsibilities

SDLC & Quality Governance

• Follow established software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality governance processes to ensure performance readiness across application releases.
• Define performance testing strategies, scope, workload models, non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Establish performance baselines and testing standards aligned with enterprise quality objectives.

Performance & Load Testing Execution

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests using NeoLoad across enterprise application components, including:
  • SAP BRIM, including Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, FI-CA, and Subscription Billing.
  • SAP Convergent Mediation for high-volume transaction and event processing.
  • SAP S/4HANA and supporting SAP modules.
  • SAP Datasphere for analytics, reporting, and data integration.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, including customer service and case management workflows.
  • Middleware and integration layers, including APIs, batch interfaces, and event-driven integrations.
  • Customer-facing digital channels, including web portals, mobile applications, IVR, and chatbot platforms.
• Simulate real-world enterprise workloads, including transaction processing, billing cycles, payment workflows, customer interactions, analytics queries, batch jobs, and peak-volume scenarios.
• Validate system performance under concurrent user loads, high-volume API traffic, intensive batch processing, and large-scale financial transactions.
• Execute end-to-end performance testing of integrations between CRM and SAP systems, including:
  • CRM-to-SAP workflows involving billing requests, account updates, and case-driven transactions.
  • SAP-to-CRM workflows involving financial updates, invoice status, and customer data synchronization.
  • Synchronous and asynchronous integrations, APIs, message queues, and batch interfaces.
• Identify performance issues and collaborate with technical teams to support resolution and retesting.

Monitoring, Analysis & Reporting

• Monitor key performance indicators, including response times, throughput, error rates, resource utilization, and system saturation thresholds.
• Analyze test results across SAP, CRM, integration, analytics, and infrastructure layers to identify bottlenecks and performance risks.
• Prepare detailed performance test reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and go/no-go readiness assessments to project stakeholders.

Tooling & Automation

• Develop, maintain, and execute reusable performance test scripts using NeoLoad.
• Conduct API, integration, and data pipeline performance testing using NeoLoad capabilities.
• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
• Establish performance baselines and support release-to-release benchmarking and regression analysis.
• Maintain reusable scripts, test assets, and documentation to improve testing efficiency and consistency.

Collaboration & Delivery Support

• Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), program increment planning, sprint demonstrations, go-live activities, and post-launch stabilization.
• Collaborate with QA, development, SAP, CRM, middleware, and infrastructure teams to validate application readiness.
• Promote performance testing best practices and continuous improvement across enterprise technology initiatives.

Documentation & Standards

• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical designs, architecture diagrams, test plans, test scripts, impact assessments, performance reports, lessons learned, and reusable testing standards.
• Follow established enterprise technology policies, quality standards, documentation requirements, and delivery procedures.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall IT testing experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on performance and load testing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with NeoLoad (required).
• Experience testing enterprise-scale applications with high transaction volumes.
• Experience testing SAP systems, CRM platforms, analytics solutions, and complex enterprise integrations.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
  • API and middleware performance testing.
  • Batch processing, event mediation, analytics, and asynchronous processing.
  • Performance monitoring, bottleneck identification, and test result analysis.
  • Enterprise application integration and end-to-end transaction flows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP environments, including SAP BRIM, S/4HANA, or ECC.
• Experience with SAP Convergent Mediation.
• Experience with SAP Datasphere.
• Experience testing bidirectional CRM-to-SAP integrations.
• Experience with CRM-to-ERP integrations.
• Experience with high-volume transaction processing or complex enterprise billing systems.
• Experience testing cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
