QA Architect
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Performance Engineering Lead to define and drive enterprise performance engineering strategy for a large-scale digital transformation initiative. This individual will establish performance testing standards, lead enterprise load and scalability testing, and ensure mission-critical applications and integrations meet performance, reliability, and capacity requirements.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience with enterprise SAP environments, CRM platforms, middleware, APIs, and complex system integrations, along with hands-on expertise in NeoLoad and a track record of leading performance engineering initiatives across large, integrated technology ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Engineering Strategy & Governance
- Define and own the overall performance engineering strategy for a large-scale enterprise technology program.
- Establish performance testing standards, governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Develop workload models using historical production metrics, anticipated business growth, and projected transaction volumes.
- Define non-functional requirements (NFRs), service level objectives (SLOs), service level agreements (SLAs), and performance acceptance criteria.
- Lead performance planning across solution design, program increment planning, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live, and hypercare.
- Review solution architectures to identify scalability risks, performance bottlenecks, and infrastructure constraints throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership on capacity planning, infrastructure sizing, and performance readiness.
Performance Testing & Execution

- SAP BRIM and SAP Convergent Mediation
- SAP S/4HANA and SAP Datasphere
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and customer engagement platforms
- Middleware, REST/SOAP APIs, and enterprise integrations
- Batch processing and event-driven architectures
- Customer-facing web and mobile applications
- Contact center technologies, including IVR and chatbot platforms
- Define workload profiles for concurrent users, transaction volumes, recurring processing cycles, payment workflows, financial transactions, and customer service operations.
- Review and approve performance test plans, scripts, workloads, and execution schedules developed by performance testing teams.
- Lead load, stress, endurance, spike, and failover testing to validate system performance under varying operating conditions.
- Establish performance benchmarks and validate system behavior against defined acceptance criteria.
Architecture, Monitoring & Root-Cause Analysis
- Define enterprise monitoring strategies across applications, middleware, SAP platforms, databases, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
- Analyze response times, throughput, resource utilization, JVM metrics, database performance, middleware queues, API latency, and infrastructure constraints.
- Lead root-cause analysis in collaboration with development, enterprise applications, infrastructure, middleware, and vendor teams.
- Recommend application tuning, database optimization, infrastructure scaling, and configuration improvements.
- Validate performance and operational readiness ahead of production deployments.
Tooling, Automation & Reporting
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and administration of NeoLoad as the enterprise performance testing platform.
- Establish reusable scripting frameworks, automation standards, and performance testing practices.
- Implement automated performance regression testing for major releases.
- Develop performance dashboards and executive-level reporting to communicate results, risks, and trends.
Collaboration, Documentation & Leadership
- Communicate performance status, technical risks, bottlenecks, and mitigation strategies to executive stakeholders and program leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional technology teams to resolve performance issues and improve system reliability and scalability.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, test plans, scripts, impact assessments, lessons learned, and reusable standards.
- Ensure all work adheres to established enterprise technology standards, policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
