Architect Engineer

Job Summary:

The Architect Engineer is responsible for the architectural design, coordination, and execution of hotel and hospitality projects. The role ensures that designs meet brand standards, operational functionality, guest experience requirements, and local authority regulations while maintaining budget and timeline compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop concept, schematic, and detailed designs for hotel and hospitality projects.
• Coordinate closely with interior designers, MEP, structural engineers, and operators to ensure seamless integration of architectural elements.
• Ensure compliance with international hotel brand standards and operator requirements.
• Prepare architectural drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
• Review contractor shop drawings and material submittals.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design compliance.
• Resolve technical and design-related issues during execution.
• Participate in meetings with hotel operators, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Support value engineering exercises while maintaining design integrity and guest experience quality.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in hotel or hospitality projects.
• Proven experience working on international hotel brands or luxury hospitality developments.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality design standards (back-of-house, front-of-house, circulation, fire & life safety requirements).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and visualization tools.
