Senior Reservoir Engineer

 Job Description:

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the preparation of Ieoc production budgets, elaborating the inputs from Joint Operating Companies and Partners, ensuring technical reliability and compliance with Eni standards and procedures.
  • To support the optimization of the fields development through the coordination and supervision of preliminary studies during the exploration and appraisal phase and, subsequently, of the final reservoir studies, minimizing time to production and ensuring the best reliability of the data.
  • To support the well and reservoir performance monitoring in all producing fields operated by Joint Operating Companies and Partners.
  • To ensure the definition of the data acquisition strategy to optimize the reservoir monitoring and the data collection in all producing fields operated by Joint Operating Companies and Partners.
  • To support technical support to and supervision of the Company and of the Joint Operating Companies for the definition, selection and execution of development projects and relevant studies.
  • To support, in cooperation with Well Operations and Exploration, the planning and management of Ieoc operated exploration and appraisal wells and relevant testing and completion activities.
  • To ensure the preparation and follow up of well testing programs, to fully meet the prognosis targets by pursuing at the same time the best results in terms of time and cost effectiveness.
  • To support technical support and effective liaison with EGPC/EGAS to obtain all relevant approvals for Company activities.
  • To ensure the preparation of hydrocarbon reserves / resources evaluations for both existing fields / prospects and for the evaluation of New Ventures opportunities.
  • To ensure effectively liaise with EGPC/EGAS to obtain the approval for programs and operations.
  • To ensure the reserve certification process by providing, in coordination with the Joint Operating Companies and Partners, the expected production profiles classified in accordance to Eni requirements.
  • To ensure participation and assistance to all committees (TCM, OCM, EACM, etc.) for operated and non operated Concessions.
  • To ensure participation and support to reservoir studies managed by Eni Reservoir Department and to provide relevant support to the Operating Companies.
  • To ensure all the reporting activities internal to the Company, and as requested by Eni Headquarters and Partners.
  • To ensure, in collaboration with Eni, the technological updating of tools, instruments and methodologies, as well as the excellence and competitiveness of reservoir management and production optimization activities of the Company.
  • To ensure, in coordination with ITC, the implementation of an efficient and fit for purpose reservoir and production information system.
  • To support and maintain an efficient, effective and safe data storage and collection of all valuable technical data and information.
  • To ensure, in co-ordination with HCS department, the professional development and growth of the human resources of the professional families of competence.
  • To act as Development and Operation Manager when delegated during the absence of the Development and Operation Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

University Degree in Engineering / At least 5-10 years experience
