Technical Project Manager

 Job Description:

Role Purpose:

The Technical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex construction projects with a strong focus on technical compliance, coordination, and quality. This role requires technical expertise in construction engineering and excellent project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant standards.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead technical planning and execution across all phases of construction projects.
  • Coordinate between design, engineering, procurement, and site execution teams.
  • Review technical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources using appropriate project management tools.
  • Monitor and enforce technical quality and compliance with industry codes and standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive problem-solving.
  • Serve as the main technical liaison between stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and clients.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and project reviews.
  • Prepare and present progress reports and technical documentation.
  • Support project handover and documentation processes.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 710 years of experience in construction project management, with strong technical background.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of construction techniques, engineering standards, and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
