Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and versatile HR Manager with a hybrid skill set to lead both the operational and strategic HR functions within our growing automotive company. As the first HR hire, you will manage HR processes while driving business performance by aligning HR practices with company goals. You will oversee all aspects of HR, from recruitment and training to talent development and organizational planning, ensuring that HR practices support both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Collaborate with leadership to develop HR strategies that align with business goals, focusing on talent acquisition, employee performance, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • HR Operations & Administration: Manage day-to-day HR functions such as recruitment, employee onboarding, payroll, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Develop and manage recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent. Ensure recruitment processes are efficient and effective.
  • Training & Development: Design and execute training programs that align with both operational needs and the companys long-term strategic objectives.
  • Organizational Development (OD): Drive organizational development initiatives to enhance employee performance, engagement, and alignment with business goals.
  • HR Systems & Technology: Implement HR systems and processes to streamline HR operations, using data and analytics to drive informed decisions.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Foster a positive work culture through employee engagement initiatives, aligning efforts with both day-to-day needs and long-term business objectives.
  • Compliance & Policies: Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of HR experience, with a mix of both operational and strategic HR expertise.
  • Proven experience in managing HR functions independently while also advising leadership on strategic HR decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, systems, and tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
