Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Cost Control Manager to lead and oversee cost management initiatives within our organization. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring cost control strategies to ensure operational efficiency and financial optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, extensive experience in cost management, and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive cost-saving initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute cost control strategies to optimize financial performance and efficiency.
- Oversee and analyze budgets, expenditures, and financial reports to track cost trends.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and implement process improvements.
- Monitor cost variances, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead cost forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, operations, and other departments to ensure cost-effective decision-making.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Develop and maintain cost control systems, tools, and reports to enhance financial tracking.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to achieve cost reductions and contract optimizations.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or masters degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in cost control, financial management, or a related role at Five Stars Hotels & Restaurants
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control principles.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of industry-specific cost control practices (e.g., hospitality, manufacturing, construction).
