Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Bakery Chef De Partie (CDP) to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and baking of high-quality pastries, bread, and desserts while ensuring efficiency, consistency, and adherence to food safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, bake, and present a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts according to bakery standards.
  • Assist the Head Baker or Pastry Chef in daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow in the bakery section.
  • Maintain high-quality control in taste, texture, and appearance of all baked products.
  • Follow recipes and standard operating procedures while also contributing creative ideas for new products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery section, following hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Operate and maintain bakery equipment properly to ensure efficiency and longevity.
  • Work efficiently under pressure while meeting production deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bakery Chef De Partie, at Five Stars Hotels & Restaurants
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and recipes while demonstrating creativity in baking.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Passion for baking and dedication to high-quality standards.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a high-volume environment.
