Job Overview:
The Digital Product Manager will oversee the strategy, development, and execution of digital products, ensuring they align with both customer needs and business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the lifecycle of digital products, from concept to market launch and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Define the vision, roadmap, and strategy for digital products in alignment with company goals. Make data-driven decisions on feature prioritization and development.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless product experience and timely delivery.
- Market Research & Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor products to identify opportunities for new features or products.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including ideation, prototyping, development, testing, launch, and iteration.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on product progress, key metrics, and upcoming releases. Be the voice of the customer while balancing business needs.
- Agile Development: Lead agile ceremonies (such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, etc.) to keep development on track and aligned with product goals.
- KPIs & Metrics: Define success metrics and monitor product performance post-launch. Adjust the product strategy based on data insights and feedback.
- User-Centered Focus: Conduct user research, analyze usage patterns, and continuously improve the user experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in digital product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products.
- Strong understanding of the full product development lifecycle, from ideation to delivery.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and updates to various stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and marketers.
- Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Aha!, or similar).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in [industry or specific digital products, e.g., e-commerce, SaaS, mobile apps, etc.].
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and best practices.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation.
- Understanding of data analytics tools and performance tracking (e.g., Google Analytics, Mix panel, etc.).
