Position Summary:

The Team Leader/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their assigned team within the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering a positive work environment. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating tasks, and ensuring compliance with hotel standards and policies.

Job Description

  • Lead and coordinate reception and front-of-house operations in the lounge. Oversee day-to-day operations to deliver a consistently high level of service to guests in a busy and fast-paced environment.
  • Review work procedures and address operational problems to improve services, performance, and safety. Manage all SOPs, product specifications, planograms, and daily procedures.
  • Handle administrative duties such as staff rosters and duty assignments.
  • Prepare business reports (including staff control, food control, and sales) and participate in ad-hoc assignments.
  • Implement improvements and/or new services and operational policies.
  • Take initiative to identify areas for improvement to enhance guest satisfaction and service quality.
  • Resolve issues or complaints within 24 hours (from HQ, agencies, or guests) professionally.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure smooth F&B operations.
  • Manage staff scheduling and ensure that weekly work schedules and annual leave planners are properly administered and filed.
  • Contribute ideas and develop innovative programs to enhance customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality or hotel industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems and basic computer applications.
