Position Summary:
The F&B Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the food and beverage department, ensuring excellent service, maintaining high standards, and creating a positive dining experience for guests. This role involves managing staff, coordinating activities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while maximizing efficiency and profitability.
Job description
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of food and beverage products, ensuring they meet quality standards in terms of taste, presentation, and safety.
- Monitor food preparation and service to ensure consistency in product quality across all F&B operations (restaurants, cafes, and franchises).
- Review and assess suppliers and incoming raw materials Ensure compliance with all local and international food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and health codes across all F&B locations.
- Monitor kitchen cleanliness and equipment hygiene, ensuring proper sanitation practices are always followed.
- Develop and implement quality control checklists, procedures, and guidelines for all food production and service stages.
Work closely with the kitchen staff and management teams to perform sensory evaluations, ensuring the consistency and quality of products. - Coordinate with the operations and supply chain teams to ensure the right ingredients are used and are consistently available for production.
Job Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and quality control measures.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is a plus.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and cost control.
