Position Title: Marketing Manager - Ice Cream Brand

overview: A Marketing Manager for an ice cream company is responsible for developing and executing strategies to promote the brand, drive sales, and ensure customer engagement. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing Strategy Development:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to increase sales and brand visibility.
    • Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitors to adjust strategies.
    • Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities and expansion strategies.
  2. Campaign Management:

    • Design, implement, and monitor seasonal and year-round marketing campaigns.
    • Manage digital, social media, print, and in-store promotions.
    • Collaborate with advertising agencies and production teams for content creation.
  3. Brand Management:

    • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
    • Oversee the development of packaging designs, slogans, and marketing materials.
    • Organize product launches, events, and tastings to promote new or seasonal flavors.
  4. Consumer Engagement & Social Media:

    • Lead social media strategy, content creation, and community management.
    • Respond to consumer inquiries and foster a positive brand presence online.
    • Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors for campaigns.
  5. Market Research & Analysis:

    • Conduct regular consumer and market research to track trends and identify emerging opportunities.
    • Monitor sales data and customer feedback to refine marketing initiatives.
    • Prepare reports on the effectiveness of marketing activities and suggest improvements.
  6. Budget Management:

    • Oversee the marketing budget and ensure effective allocation across various channels.
    • Monitor expenses and ensure cost-efficient execution of campaigns.
  7. Collaboration with Sales Team:

    • Work closely with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales goals.
    • Develop promotional materials and support sales initiatives, including in-store promotions and retailer partnerships.
  8. Event Planning:

    • Organize and attend trade shows, festivals, and pop-up events to showcase the brand.
    • Coordinate sponsorships or partnerships with events and causes that align with the brands values.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the food or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and advertising strategies.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a keen understanding of market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience with budget management and analytics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and other marketing tools.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
