Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Control Officer to monitor and manage cost-related activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking expenses, analyzing financial data, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction while ensuring financial efficiency and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track daily expenses, budgets, and financial transactions.
  • Analyze cost variances and prepare reports to highlight discrepancies.
  • Assist in developing cost control strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with procurement and finance teams to control spending and optimize costs.
  • Maintain cost control records, databases, and reports for financial analysis.
  • Assist in budget preparation and cost forecasting.
  • Identify areas for potential cost savings and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of financial data.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cost control, financial analysis, or a similar role at Five Stars Hotels & Restaurants.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good understanding of budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific cost control practices (e.g., hospitality, construction, manufacturing) is a plus.
