The Main Duties Of This Role Will Include
Responsibility for our Animal Nutrition (technical) sales, including Key Accounts
Establish and develop long-term customer relationships
Identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities for growth
Create and fulfill own sales plans and budget on the basis of market plans
Create and execute 3-5 year Business Plan for the region
Monthly reporting, sales analytics and insights; understand go-to-market strategy and how to maximize sales efficiency
Develop customer concepts in cooperation with product management, application and product development
Stay up-to-date on industry trend analysis, competitive activity and changing consumer behaviors through industry publications, events and insights reports to strategically grow the business
Support and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies for the region
Close interaction with other departments: technical support, customer service/logistics, product management, marketing and controlling
- Achieving Sales Targets: Successfully manage the sales team to hit growth and sales targets .
- Strategic Planning: Design and implement strategic sales plans to expand the company's customer base and ensure a strong presence
- Team Management: Recruit, set objectives, coach, and monitor the performance of sales representatives
- Customer Relationships: Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs
- Reporting: Present sales, revenue, and expense reports along with realistic forecasts to the management team
- Market Analysis: Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being aware of new products and competition
- Bachelors in Science in Agri, Engineering, Veterinarian or Business educational background
- Knowledge of animal nutrition and technical applications a pre
- At least 10 years experience in the Animal Nutrition Industry
- Business development spirit
- Solid negotiation skills
- Autonomy and organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a (virtual) team
- Enthusiasm, initiative, and ability to work under pressure
- Strong customer service orientation skills
- Experience working in a matrix organization (cross-cultural mindset)
- Excellent English and Arab language skills
