Moderator
Job Description:
Premier is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for a skilled and proactive Community Moderator to join their growing digital engagement team. This role requires a candidate with strong experience in community management and social media moderation, capable of fostering a positive environment across platforms while ensuring adherence to brand tone and community guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content across multiple social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok) and community forums to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
- Enforce community guidelines and policies by reviewing, responding to, and escalating user reports and flagged content.
- Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, maintaining the brands voice and tone.
- Identify and report emerging issues, trends, and potential crises to the community management and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, customer support, and content teams to improve community engagement.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of moderation policies and best practices.
- Assist in organizing and executing online community events, campaigns, and engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in online moderation, community management, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large and active communities across social platforms.
- Strong written communication skills with keen attention to detail and tone.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when managing sensitive or challenging situations.
- Familiarity with community management tools and social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Discord, Zendesk).
- Understanding of digital trends, internet culture, and online behavior.
- Flexibility to work in shifts or weekends if required.
- Good English and Arabic communication
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with international or large-scale digital communities.
- Basic understanding of content moderation policies around user safety, spam, and platform guidelines.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
