Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee recruitment efforts, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates for various retail positions.
- Manage employee performance appraisal processes, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
- Implement and maintain an effective onboarding process for new employees to ensure smooth integration into the company.
- Address employee relations issues and provide counseling to staff to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations on HR policies.
- Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role within the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations relevant to the retail environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business results.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with applicant tracking systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented approach.
