Job Summary:**
The Facility Manager will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and management of all facilities within the gated community, including the wet utilities network, tanks, pump stations, and water features. This role ensures that all systems are functioning efficiently and safely, while also overseeing facility staff and contractors.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Facility Operations:**
- Oversee the daily operations of the wet utilities network, including tanks, pump stations, and water features.
- Ensure all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of all equipment and systems.
2. **Maintenance Management:**
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all facilities.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff and external contractors.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to facility operations.
3. **Wet Utilities Management:**
- Monitor and manage the water distribution system to ensure consistent and safe water supply.
- Maintain and repair tanks, pumps, valves, and other components of the wet utilities network.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
4. **Safety and Compliance:**
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to facility operations.
- Conduct safety training for facility staff.
5. **Budget and Resource Management:**
- Prepare and manage the facility maintenance budget.
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Procure necessary equipment and supplies for facility maintenance.
6. **Staff Supervision:**
- Hire, train, and supervise facility maintenance staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of wet utilities systems, tanks, pump stations, and water features.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in using facility management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Certification in Facilities Management (CFM) or similar.
- Experience with budget management and cost control.
- Knowledge of local, state, and international regulations related to facility operations.
**Working Conditions:**
- This position may require working outside of regular business hours, including evenings and weekends.
- The role involves both office work and hands-on maintenance tasks.
