 Job Description:

Key Accountabilities

  1. Lead implementation of the HSEQ strategy and policies for logistics operations, in line with country, regional, and group standards.
  2. Foster a proactive safety culture through regular site engagement and strong leadership relationships.
  3. Collaborate with site leaders to ensure operational excellence and alignment with global goals.
  4. Oversee legal compliance and integrated management system implementation.
  5. Analyze site performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Set the tone for a safety-first culture through example and team engagement.
  7. Coach HSEQ and site leaders to mitigate risks and enhance environmental stewardship.
  8. Encourage innovation and operational simplicity.
  9. Identify opportunities to reduce costs while strengthening customer retention.
  10. Conduct training and workshops for leadership across logistics operations.
  11. Ensure compliance and improvement of the QHSE Management System (QHSEMS).
  12. Manage the validation master plan and site risk register.
  13. Prepare for and maintain ISO certification readiness.
  14. Validate equipment and systems related to QHSE.
  15. Provide ERP implementation guidance.
  16. Lead third-party validation projects.
  17. Review QHSE investigations and CAPA in a timely manner.
  18. Monitor CAPA effectiveness.
  19. Proactively identify and escalate compliance issues.
  20. Ensure QHSE concerns are addressed in management reviews.
  21. Compile annual and quality review reports.
  22. Audit suppliers (onsite or remotely).
  23. Host regulatory and customer audits.
  24. Close out investigations and product complaints promptly.
  25. Oversee the QHSE department budget.
  26. Lead internal food safety audits.
  27. Manage customer complaints effectively.
  28. Ensure warehouse operations comply with GDP/GMP standards.
  29. Oversee QHSE training needs analysis and planning.
  30. Evaluate training compliance quarterly.
  31. Participate in risk assessments.
  32. Develop and maintain QHSE policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a relevant field, with at least 5 years in a senior HSEQ leadership role in high-risk environments (e.g., logistics, industrial, manufacturing, construction).
  • NEBOSH Diploma preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Customer-oriented with solid implementation experience in QHSE systems.
  • Exposure to logistics, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or food sectors preferred.
  • Proven team leadership within HSSEQ environments.
  • Experience integrating management systems and onboarding new sites.
  • Excellent influencing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic thinker with commercial and financial awareness.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 28000, 22000, and PCI standards.
