About the job IT Director

We are hiring an IT Director for one of our clients. The IT Director will be managing and overseeing the technology infrastructure and systems within an organization. Responsible for aligning the IT strategy with the overall business objectives and ensuring that technology initiatives support the company's goals.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Planning, developing, and implementing the IT budget, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, to ensure cost effectiveness.
  • Direct daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines.
  • Evaluate the newest and most innovative technologies and determine how these can help their organization.
  • Review and approve all systems charts and programs prior to their implementation.
  • Works in every size of the organization in the industry and the service sector, usually with a staff of technicians, programmers, quality assurance, system analyst, system administrators, network administrators, applications administrators, and database administrators.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of all company systems, including ERB system, anti-virus software, print services and email provision.
  • Ensuring the security of data from internal and external attacks.
  • Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery.
  • Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
  • Prepare and review operational reports or project progress reports.
  • Maintain Risk management log for infrastructure services.

The job includes other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.



Qualifications:

  1. A bachelors degree in computer science or engineering.
  2. 15+ years of experience
  3. Excellent customer service and project management skills.
  4. Excellent following SDLC
  5. Very good written and spoken English.
  6. Effective Communication & Negotiation Skills
  7. High attention to detail
  8. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and cross-cultural skills
  9. Thorough understanding of internet/intranet, including experience with specific network environments and protocols in use at the organization
  10. Work ethic.

Working conditions:

Working Hours: 8AM to 4PM

Working Days: Sunday to Thursday
