Job Title: Senior Technical Office Engineer - Aluminum Works

Location: New Cairo, Egypt

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Office Engineer with a strong background specifically in Aluminum Works to join our team in New Cairo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to final execution. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent technical, communication, and coordination skills, capable of ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality standards and within established timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Shop Drawings and Technical Proposals: Prepare detailed and accurate shop drawings for aluminum works based on architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Develop comprehensive technical proposals that clearly articulate our solutions and methodologies.
  • Quantity Surveying (QS): Accurately calculate quantities of materials and works required for projects.
  • Material Take-Off (MTO), Fabrication Orders, and Bill of Materials (BOM): Prepare precise MTOs for procurement, detailed fabrication orders for the workshop, and comprehensive BOMs ensuring accurate material sourcing and production.
  • Inter-Team Coordination: Effectively coordinate with various internal teams including design, production, site execution, and project management to ensure seamless workflow and quality execution of aluminum works.
  • Execution Monitoring and Alignment: Monitor the on-site execution process of aluminum works to ensure it strictly adheres to approved designs, engineering standards, and project specifications.
  • Progress Reporting: Prepare regular and comprehensive progress reports detailing the status of aluminum works, highlighting any potential issues, and proposing solutions.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably in Architecture.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience specifically in the field of Aluminum Works within a contracting or fabrication environment.
  • Strong proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and other relevant industry-specific software.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare clear and concise technical reports and effectively follow up on project execution progress.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Creative and proactive decision-making skills based on practical experience and sound engineering judgment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
