- Interact with Customers in securing business and all related activities- the commercial side of the container business.
- To be responsible for rates and bookings communication with principals.
- Promote Container Services on behalf of principals.
Main responsibilities
- Market NVOCC principals to Egypt exporters.
- Daily multiple exporter customer visits.
- Secure export bookings in line with available container inventory.
- Report customer visit feedback weekly with forecast bookings.
- Develop a strong customer database.
- Maintain close contact and follow up with selected customers in agreement with the direct manager.
- Sending Service profiles, sailing schedules, and rate quotations to customers.
- Promote all Maritime Logistics services to new customers.
- Ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment lifecycle, engaging both the customer and relevant internal stakeholders.
- Commercial intelligence: engage customers in discussions about new business opportunities and competitor/market intelligence.
Accountabilities
The position will be measured against:
- Develop/Increase our container's customer database.
- Establish professional close communication with principals.
- Ensure the smooth execution of job responsibilities which is assigned by the manager.
- Proactively participate in the development of the department and company.
Qualifications
Mandatory requirements
- Min. 2 years experience in a similar position
- Fluent English
- Excellent knowledge of PC Software
Process Involvement
The job holder is responsible for supervising the implementation and carrying out all tasks related to the liner export sales department as outlined within the principal requirements.
