Responsibilities

  • Process and review invoices for approval and payment in accordance with company policies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Maintain records of all accounts payable transactions and related documentation.
  • Prepare and issue payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer as necessary.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and payment records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth accounts payable process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
