Role Description:
1. Primary Responsibilities
1.1 Battery Supplier Engineer
- Supplier Evaluation and Audits: Conduct supplier assessments and regular audits to ensure compliance with quality and process standards.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Establish and maintain quality control systems to ensure supplier output meets specifications and performance requirements.
- New Product Introduction (NPI) Support: Collaborate with suppliers during - NPI phases to ensure manufacturing readiness and adherence to quality standards.
1.2 Additional Responsibilities
- Project Management: Support or lead specific projects related to supplier quality, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Operational Drive: Proactively identify and address operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks within the supply chain.
- Process and Factory Efficiency Improvement: Contribute to initiatives focused on enhancing manufacturing processes and improving factory efficiency at supplier sites.
2. Deliverables: Quality Systems, Build Readiness Reviews, Data Utilization, Specification Setting, Failure Analysis & Corrective Actions, Daily/Weekly Updates, Audits, and Other Responsibilities:
- 2D drawing reviews, MSOPs, measurement fixture qualification, and GR&R.
- Gauge design, AOI development, and qualification.
- Process qualification plans.
- Reliability (Rel) and ORT test design and qualification.
- Cosmetic specification setting.
- Traceability planning and shop floor system design.
- IQC/OQC correlation.
- Maintaining an up-to-date MIL.
- Yield bridge analysis.
- Establishing process control specifications and monitoring systems.
- Ensuring parts conform to FAI and CPK specifications.
